In the exercise “The Museum,” our instructor, Maya Gur, asked us to take a well-known artwork and transform it into something different and abstract. I chose the piece “The Persistence of Memory” by Salvador Dalí from 1931. In this work, one can see the painting in a line and stain technique, a grid, and the use of negative colors. The work was done using Adobe Photoshop.
Music Album

From Quote to Image
In the exercise “From Quote to Image,” our instructor, Maya Gur, asked us to create a visual image inspired by the quote, “Art is not what you see, but what you make others see,” by Edgar Degas. I chose to create a visual representation addressing the tragedy of October 7th. The artwork was created using black and white acrylics, with additional editing done in Photoshop.
Culture Festival
In the exercise “Culture Festival,” our instructor, Maya Gur, asked us to choose a specific culture (music, fashion, interior design, etc.) and create a festival for that culture. I chose hip-hop culture, specifically hip-hop from the ’90s and 2000s. The work was created using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
